The most efficient way to lower the embodied emissions from a building project, is to increase its lifespan and to avoid construction waste. Increasing the circularity levels of windows and doors helps to reach these goals.

Construction materials account for 47% of the EUs overall consumption of materials by weight. Increasing the circularity of these products could significantly reduce their environmental impact.
Our impact
Introducing new product passports will benefit the recycling of the materials in our products. On top of that, we identify and avoid components that have a negative impact on the recycling process.
Our actions
Act 1: Cradle to Cradle® certification
Our Cradle to Cradle® certified products are safe, circular, and responsibly made. By 2024, we will double our range of C2C-certified systems from nine to eighteen circular products and improve existing certifications too. Choose the highest quality, and the lowest environmental impact.
Act 2: Product (material) passports
Recovering products and materials is crucial to end waste once and for all. That is why our new product passport will include all relevant product details, such as material composition, maintenance instructions and disassembly guidelines. Nothing is left to chance!
Act 3: Recyclability
When you optimize the recyclability of systems, you can also improve the quality of the recycled materials. At Reynaers Aluminium, we identify and avoid components that have a negative impact on the recycling process.
