Reynaers Campus: Experience Centre
Make yourself at home at The Reynaers Experience Centre, a gleaming four-storey extension to the headquarters of Reynaers Aluminium in Duffel, Belgium. Futuristic yet sustainable, this 3,500 square metre building features several of the company’s latest and greatest solutions to deliver two very different façades, front and back. Explore with us this exceptional flagship for architectural innovation.
The Experience Centre harmoniously blends in with all current buildings on the Reynaers Campus, the corporate headquarters of the Reynaers Group built in 2017. Its innovative and sustainable design meets all requirements one can expect for a state-of-the-art 21st-century building. By incorporating sustainable yet practical aluminium solutions, such as the BriseSoleil 100 solar shading system on the Centre’s right-hand side, the office building offers extra comfort to visitors and employees alike.
An interplay of aluminium and glazing solutions
The Experience Centre aims to deliver high-level innovation without compromising the comfort of visitors and employees. This philosophy reflects in the clever architectural use of aluminium façade and windows systems. When the sun shines brightly - unfortunately, not every day in this modest Belgian town -, these quality systems produce an exceptional interplay of light and space on either side of the building.
High-level innovation and ultimate comfort come together in our Experience Centre’s design.
As a first-time visitor, you will be struck by the Centre’s two contrasting façades. Street-side and to the front, a strong linear pattern of aluminium façade and window solutions greet you as you approach the building. Like other buildings at the headquarters, this is in keeping with the “less is more” philosophy. Here, the large and heavy expanses of glass are supported by the ConceptWall 60-Structural Clamped (SC) system, a façade solution known for its excellent thermal performance.
Yet on closer inspection, this façade also comes with some ingenious projecting windows and other elements. Many of these are bespoke variations on our ElementFaçade 86-Structural Glazed (SG) system, an easy-to-install unitised curtain wall. The overall effect of this cassette façade is highly three-dimensional, spotlighting the many innovative possibilities of Reynaers Aluminium solutions.
Sustainable aluminium solutions offer extra comfort to visitors and employees alike.
